"Vibrant ruby in colour, the 2020 Tempranillo is packed with ripe raspberry, cherry, and blueberry aromas, along with subtle floral notes. This bold fruit expression is complimented by hints of cedar, licorice, and fresh sage. Maturation in seasoned French oak barrels for 18 months has allowed the essence of the Tempranillo fruit to shine through. The rich concentration and velvety ripe tannins suggest this full-bodied wine can continue to evolve over the next decade, making it a great candidate for cellaring."

The 2020 growing season got off to a slow start with a cool and damp spring and flowering period. However, a dry and warm July, August and September allowed the vines to quickly able to make up for lost time. With smaller than average crop levels and perfect ripening conditions from September through to Thanksgiving, the fruit was able to achieve excellent flavour and phenolic ripeness, and was harvested with high levels of concentration and aromatic intensity. An outstand-ing vintage that has produced structured and expressive red wines, with impres-sive purity and finesse.
