The 20th vintage of the Nota Bene is comprised of 49% Cabernet Sauvignon, 41% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Franc and new this year, 1% of Petit Verdot. This is the first vintage crafted by our winemaker, Master of Wine Ross Wise.

The 2018 Addendum is concentrated and built to last with aromas red currant, raspberry and cherry. This red fruit follows through on the palate with nuances of milk chocolate, cedar, fresh herbs and mint. It has great, firm acidity reflecting the slightly cooler vintage of 2018.  If you are drinking this wine tonight, decant it for an hour and enjoy it with beef short ribs, or cellar it for up to 10 years in the right conditions.

It is with much anticipation that we release one of our most sought after wines, the 2018 Chardonnay. Using only the finest French oak, this wine shows pronounced aromas of burnt sugar, rich tropical fruit, and candied lemon peel. 

Ripe raspberry and black cherry aromas are intense and well defined in the 2017 Syrah, and they are joined by hints of freshly cracked black pepper. On the palate dark chocolate and sweet baking spice notes combine seamlessly with the fresh berry fruit flavours. The ideal cocktail wine, showing a nose of vibrant lemon and lime, with subtle toast in the background. The mouthfeel on this blend is both creamy and bright, with flavours of gooseberry, grapefruit and green apple. Read full tasting notes.

The 2017 vintage of Roussanne opens with nuances of ripe, juicy pear. Served in a wide-mouthed Montrachet glass, the wine shows aromas of golden apple, baking spices, and subtle Meyer lemon. 

The 2017 vintage of Ipso Facto is a blend of Syrah & Merlot, with a small percentage of Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon as well. 

The 2018 Viognier shows intense ripe peach and nectarine aromas alongside floral notes and hints of exotic spices. The palate shows a textural creamy richness so typical of the variety, but the wine remains crisp due to its refreshing acidity.
