FAQs

Is smoking permitted?

Black Hills Estate Winery Lodge is a smoke-free facility. The summer months in the Okanagan are high risk for wildfire.

Are there any noise restrictions?

Yes. No outdoor music after 11 PM. We also ask that you be respectful to neighbouring properties.

Can I connect to the internet?

Yes. We offer free, secure Wi-Fi access throughout the property.

Does the lodge have air conditioning?

Yes, there is air conditioning throughout the whole house. Please do not leave windows and doors ajar.

Do you supply toiletries?

We provide individual soap and shampoo/conditioner. The en-suite is equipped with a hair dryer.

Are minors allowed?

This is intended as an adult only destination for our club members.

Do you accept pets?

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pets due to allergies.

What if we need to arrive early or check out late?

We do our best to accommodate early check-ins. However, if the lodge isn't ready upon your arrival, you are welcome to join us for a splash of wine in our Wine Experience Centre. Let us know a time so we can reserve a table and have it ready upon arrival.

If your arrival is early in the day and you would like immediate access to the lodge, we recommend reserving for the prior night.  For late departures, reserving an additional night will guarantee access until you leave the lodge as it might be difficult to accommodate late check outs.

What if we need to cancel after making a reservation?

Please refer to our policies page.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept VISA, MasterCard and AMEX. We do not accept personal cheques nor traveller's cheques.

Is there a minimum number of nights we must stay?

Yes there is a three night minimum.

Is there a concierge service?

Our team will be delighted to help with any information or pre-planning for your trip during posted business hours, however, there is not a 24hr concierge service.

How far are you from the Penticton airport and other locations?

We are about 45 minutes south of the Penticton airport and 15 minutes north of Osoyoos.
