Our 2019 Syrah reminds us of a trip to Saint Joseph in the Northern Rhone, with bold aromas of Cedar, peppercorn, graphite, and violets. Matured in lightly toasted or well-seasoned French oak barriques and puncheons, the pure fruit expression of this vintage showcases ripe Bing cherry, red plum, and juicy red currents, giving way to more earthy nuances of forest floor on the finish. This wine is medium plus in body, with silky tannin structure, and is drinking very well in its youthful stage. To unlock more spicy, meaty nuances, cellar for up to 10 years.
