2025 Sauvignon Blanc
94 Points
James Suckling
A fresh and fruity white with aromas of grapefruit, light mangoes and some stone fruit. It’s steely and vivid. Medium-bodied with subtle flavors at the end. Drink now.

Tasting Notes
The 2025 Sauvignon Blanc is poised and mineral-driven, with vibrant layers of citrus and orchard fruit shaped by the high elevation of Hidden Terrace Vineyard. Lemon zest, white grapefruit, and fresh pear are lifted by delicate vanilla and acacia blossom aromatics, alongside nuanced notes of fresh chervil, crushed cardamom, and beeswax. The palate is precise yet textural, gaining depth and complexity from maturation in concrete and lightly toasted French oak barriques. Concentrated fruit and finely tuned acidity move in seamless balance, while a chalky mineral backbone carries through the long, mouthwatering finish. Marked by purity, energy, and finesse, this Sauvignon Blanc is beautifully expressive upon release and will continue to evolve gracefully over the next 5 years.

Vintage Notes
The 2025 growing season arrived nearly two weeks ahead of average, unfolding into one of the warmest vintages on record , yet notably absent of the extreme heat spikes seen in recent years. With yields reminiscent of the generosity experienced in 2022, the season marked a welcome return of abundant, high-quality fruit across the valley following the challenges of 2024.These early summer heat waves were followed by a mix of cool nights, supporting steady ripening throughout the season. An unusually high number of thunderstorms brought periods of heat and humidity, but careful vineyard management maintained clean, healthy vines. The season progressed smoothly, leading to one of the earliest harvests on record.
