"The 2013 Syrah fills the nose with aromas of dark fruit and black cherry with a smoky back drop. Carrying through on the palate are rich, dark fruit flavours of cherry, blackberry and blueberry with integrated notes of coffee, cocoa and cigar. It is full-bodied, velvety and smooth with a lenghty finish. Try with herb crusted rack of lamb or ribs with your favourite BBQ sauce.”
Graham Pierce, Winemaker

"The 2013 growing year proved to be exceptional. Starting off early, the season remained about 2 weeks ahead of most previous years all summer. With an abundance of sunshine and moderate temperatures the season was ideal throughout veraison and all the way to harvest which gave us an excellent, lengthy ripening period. An almost perfect vintage, this one will be ‘a vintage to remember’."
Steve Carberry, Winegrower
