“Tasting Experience”

Join us at Black Hills Estate Winery for an exceptional Tasting Experience. Come and immerse yourself in our terroir and gain a true appreciation for what goes on behind the scenes in the making of our wines. You will get to enjoy tastings of current vintages, including our signature Nota Bene. You will also get a “sneak peek” barrel tasting of some of our upcoming vintages. The experience takes place in an intimate outdoor vineyard setting and is hosted by our informative & passionate “Wine Evangelist”. You will enjoy your tasting with a small group of 12 or fewer guests. Our tasting experience is between 75 to 90 minutes long and includes an insider’s look at the Winery and a Vineyard tour. They take place 7 days a week at your choice of 11:00 am or 1:30 pm start time. The price is $20.00 per person (+tx) and makes for an unforgettable wine tasting experience.

 “Food and Wine Experience”

This delicious experience is a must for all wine lovers and dedicated foodies.  You will get to enjoy tastings of current vintages, including our signature Nota Bene. You will also get a “sneak peek” barrel tasting of some of our upcoming vintages. The experience takes place in an intimate outdoor vineyard setting and is hosted by our informative & passionate “Wine Evangelist”. You will enjoy your tasting while exploring the modern art of food and wine pairing. Our food and wine experience is between 75 to 90 minutes long and includes an insider’s look at the Winery, a Vineyard tour and a sit down Wine and Food Pairing.  It takes place 7 days a week at 4:00 pm.  The price is $35.00 (+tx) and makes for a unique and informative food and wine experience.

ARRANGING YOUR TASTING VISIT -- PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING

• VISITS ARE BY PRIOR APPOINTMENT ONLY. For fastest response time, request a visit using the link to our online form below.
• Tasting Experience visits are scheduled daily at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., Food and Wine Experience 4:00 pm.  Please plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to the start time.
• At the time of reservation we charge your credit card the tasting fee of $20.00 to $35.00 per person plus tax.  If you need to cancel your visit and would like to receive a refund, please give us at least 48 hours notice.
• Wine purchases during your visit are processed in addition to the tasting fee.

   
  

RETAIL SALES AT THE WINERY
The wine shop is open from April 30th to October 9th, retail sales of select wines are offered during that time. The wine shop will be open 7 days a week, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Because we only offer tastings by appointment, we do not provide tastings as part of the sales process.
