BLACK HILLS NEWSLETTER | SPRING 2006

GREETINGS FROM ALL OF US AT BLACK HILLS!

Winery ConstructionWe have certainly been blessed with great growing seasons over the past five years. Ripe fruit is essential for the production of good wines, and our current releases reflect the excellence of the past two seasons.

Winery Construction Progress

Construction on our new winery facility started this January. We are excited about this expansion, which will allow us to continue to increase production. Please visit us on the web at www.blackhillswinery.com where we are posting a 'morphing photo log' showing the progress of the new winery.

New Vintages

Nota Bene and AlibiAs of March 30 we are taking orders for two wines, Nota Bene 2004 and Alibi 2005. Please place orders on-line at www.blackhillswinery.com, by fax (print the form from the web site), or by phone. Remember to place your order early to avoid disappointment. We do not have a priority system for people on our mailing list -- our wine is sold on a first-ordered, first-served basis.

We will not be shipping during the extreme temperatures of the summer months. Shipping of Nota Bene 2004 will begin April 18, and Alibi 2005 will ship beginning June 5.

Due to winery construction this year we are not hosting a spring release event. Prepaid, at-the-winery pickups will only be available May 4 to 7, 2006 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Accolades

"... Alibi '03 is surely the most stylish Sauvignon Blanc in the Valley... one of the great white wines to be made in Canada." - Jurgen Gothe

"... Nota Bene '03... one of the best British Columbia Reds again... huge fruit, ripe and upfront... start clamouring for the '04!" - Jurgen Gothe

Thank You!

Since our first wine release we have rapidly acquired many new customers. We know this is from your kind "word of mouth" recommendations. Your support is appreciated and we are grateful.
