We wish you greetings from the crew at Black Hills Estate Winery and thank you for supporting our winery this past year.

We remain passionate about producing quality products from vineyard to bottle. We are always striving to fine tune our viticultural and enological practices to share with you the best and most interesting wines our terroir can express.

This year, our growing season was spectacular and we have been able to harvest superb ripe fruit. Fermentation is well under way and some wines are already in barrel.

As many of you have discovered already, the 2001 Nota Bene and the 2002 Sequentia that we released in May were sold out at the end of September. Our 2002 release will be late spring 2004.

Library Release

Sorry, Sold Out!

We are certain an item of interest to many this year will be our December 1st offering of a limited "Library Release". We will be packing six bottle specialty boxes that will contain two bottles of each of our first three vintages:

2 bottles Nota Bene 1999	64% Merlot, 26% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc
2 bottles Nota Bene 2000	52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Cabernet Franc, 23% Merlot
2 bottles Nota Bene 2001	46% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 19% Cabernet Franc

We intend to offer this three vintage release every three years to provide an opportunity to those who were unable to purchase our previous vintages and for those wishing to explore the aging process of our wines.

This offer is being made available as a direct ship item from the winery, as our wine shop is closed. A limited amount of these packs will be available at a few specialty Lower Mainland wine shops.

These "Library Release" packs are quite limited and will be sold on a first come first serve basis.
